The Humboldt Bay Area of Northern California, though famous for it's hippy tweakers, new
age creeps and pot farmers with guns, of course also has a wide variety of some beautiful
natural wonders to offer the wayward mob of seven punks uncofomrtably crammed into a
small, untrust-worthy motor vehicle.

Below, pictures of a fir tree (species I do not know) with emerging spring growth and pollen
cones taken near the ARcata coast, as well as a red wod stump washed up on the beach.
Also, a picture of a dead coast-redwood  (sp.sequoia sempervirens) stump from the famous
humboldt redwoods state park.

ABOVE: YOUNG MALE (POLLEN
PRODUCING) CONES
ABOVE: HOW THE FUCK DID THIS REDWOOD STUMP FIND IT'S WAY TO DA
BEACH? I DON"T KNOW, BUT LOOK AT THE FORM OF THAT STUMP.
BEAUTIFUL. MAKES ME WANT TO SPRAYPAINT A DRAWING OF IT ON THE
SHOW-WINDOWS OF A FANCY BOUTIQUE IN A RICH NEIGHBORHOOD.
STAND TALL, OLD
BLOODS.
