Traditions are cheesy as hell. So are punk holidays. We don't even all get along. Some of us hate eachother. This
all began as a stupid joke, and the people who started it ain't even here.

None the less, 150 punks converged in St. Louis on may 25th for no other reason than they heard about it through
word of mouth or saw it written in marker under a bridge in some town or another.  Rumor of the event had had 5
years or so to make it's way around the country.
People drank cheap beer, hung out under the arch, played a generator show in a huge abandoned Cotton Belt
Railroad warehouse (seen  below) and for some reason, St. Louis, in all it's glory, would not arrest us.
Two undercover cops even showed up to the generator show to see what all the commotion was about and enjoy the
festivities. The whole thing lasted three or four days.
